Temple Beth Shalom Celebrates the Conclusion of the Fall Festival Holidays

Please join the members of Temple Beth Shalom of Ocala as we celebrate joyous festival of Simchat Torah (Rejoicing with the Torah), during the harvest festival of Sukkot, at our Shabbat Services, Friday, October 21, 2005 at 7:30 P.M.
This unique and special opportunity is the one and only time during the year where we finish chanting the final verses of Deuteronomy, from one of our Torah Scrolls. We then unwrap another Torah Scroll and chanting in Hebrew, start the first verses of Genesis, repeating our yearly cycle of Torah readings and study. We will rejoice with music, dance and a reception.
Our service will be preceded by a congregational covered ( non-meat ) dish dinner at 6:00 P.M in our social hall. New students to the religious school will be consecrated at the service. For further information and dinner reservations please call 732-3475.
Sukkot morning services will be on Tuesday, October 18, at 10:30 A.M in our sanctuary. This will be followed with a Shabbat/Sukkot morning adult study class on Saturday, October 22, at 10:30 A.M. hosted in by one of our members in their home, please RSVP at 291-1626.
We conclude the whole High Holiday Festival Service season with our memorial service of Yizcor /Simchat Torah in our sanctuary on Tuesday, October 25 at 10:30 A.M.
